“But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel.” Micah 5:2
Perhaps one of the most beloved cities in Israel, Bethlehem, the little town of Christ’s birth, now is a city of more than 60,000 people. Nearly half of the cities inhabitants are Christians, giving Bethlehem the largest Christian Arab population in the West Bank. Once an agricultural and shepherding community, the city thrives on tourism, as people from around the world and throughout the year flock here to see the place where Christ was born.
